COMMITTEE
The Varina Athletic Advisory Committee (VAAC) serves as an advisory body that provides a structured forum for community input and offer community-informed recommendations to Henrico County Public Schools and the Henrico County School Board. Its mission is to promote inclusive, transparent support for student athletics in the Varina District and to strengthen athletic programs and experiences through collaboration and informed feedback. VOLUNTEERS
Volunteers allow the committee to better reflect the voices of parents, students, educators, alumni, and community members who have firsthand knowledge of the Varina, HCPS, and/or athletic competitions.

The Virginia High School League (VHSL) is an alliance of Virginia’s public and approved non-boarding, non-public high schools that promotes education, leadership, sportsmanship, character and citizenship for students by establishing and maintaining high standards for school activities and competitions.
